All over and England have won. Been a great night for Crouch in particular but there haven't been many other stand-out displays for people pushing for places. Still, a win, a clean sheet and two goals from a guy considered to be a back-up goalkeeper. Can't really complain about that.

90+2 Kashevsky springs down the left and has a decent shooting chance momentarily but poor control lets him down and he then lashes his cross across goal.

90+1 Free-kick to Belarus as Cole is penalised...even though it was him on the deck. Odd.

90 We'll have (at least) two minutes of added time.

89 England knocking the ball around at the back as the clock ticks down.

88 Nationwide Man of the Match award has gone to David Beckham. Has certainly livened things up but that's stretching things a bit!

87 So close to a fourth. Twice. Milner bursts into box down the left after a nudged ball from Wright-Phillips but his driven shot smacks the post. Corner. Ball worked to Beckham and he drags his shot somewhat and strikes the other upright.

86 Wright-Phillips cuts in from the left and draws a foul.

85 Decent ball in from Cole on the right but Verkhovtsov is live to the danger and heads clear confidently.

84 Meandering towards the conclusion of this one. Still time for Crouch to complete his hat-trick though...

Substitution

83 Belarus bring Kashevsky on for Bordachev.

82 Johnson does well to get onto a Beckham ball down the right but Zhevnov again gathers with Crouch close by.

81 Lovely floated ball in towards the back post from Milner. Zhevnov just does enough to punch clear with Crouch sniffing a hat-trick.

80 Beckham whips a great ball in which Belarus struggle to deal with. Lampard fancies his chances of getting onto it as it bobbles around the area but it's nicked off his toes.

79 Milner, who has slotted in at left-back, curls a cross in but Verkhovtsov turns it away easily.

79 Bridge has disappeared straight down the tunnel. Slight groin strain apparently.

Substitution

78 Bridge is the man to make way for Milner.

77 James Milner on his way for England.

Substitution

76 Belarus bring Kovel on for Kornilenko.

Goal

76 GOAL - CROUCH. Lampard springs Cole in behind the Belarus defensive line and the West Ham striker lashes in an angled shot which Zhevnov can only parry into the path of Crouch, who has reacted first and sidefoots home.

75 Lampard dinks a good ball into the Belarus six-yard box but Zhevnov does well to get off his line quickly and gather.

74 Rodionov penalised for handball inside the centre circle.

73 Shitov hoists the ball into the England area. Foster is out a little rashly even though the ball is drifting beyond him and Beckham turns it out for a throw.

72 Ferdinand hoists the ball forward and Cole latches onto it but he just can't divert it across for Crouch and Zhevnov gathers.

71 Kalachev whips a cross in from the right towards Rodionov but Terry does really well to get a foot in and clear in the same movement. Not moving too freely as he gets back to his feet but hasn't called for the physio as yet.

70 Ball whipped in to Verkhovtsov at the back post. His looping header is turned over by Foster, but it's a free-kick in any case as Sosnovskiy is adjudged to have fouled him.

69 Slack from Terry but he recovers well to halt Kalachev's progress down the right at the expense of a throw. Bridge then rashly dives into the challenge on Kalachev to present Belarus with a free-kick out on the right as they come forward.

68 Ice pack on the cheek for Sosnovskiy - but he's straight back on.

67 Sosnovskiy down holding his face after an aerial challenge. Took a buffeting from a combination of Cole and team-mate Verkhovstov there. Gets up with a nose that central defenders in days gone by would be proud of and a bruise already coming up on his cheek.

Substitution

66 Cole on for Agbonlahor.

66 Beckham back to his usual role out on the right. Not sure what that foray inside was about but it looks a brief experiment.

65 Not the best from Foster from the corner but England do enough to get it clear. Plenty of bodies for the keeper to come through there. Probably would have been better staying on his line.

64 Wonderful move from Belarus presents Omelyanchuk with a great chance inside the England box. He powers in a shot which Foster pushes away with an excellent instinctive save. That'll do wonders for his confirence.

64 Bordachev breaks down the left but Johnson has the measure of him and nicks the ball away. Clearance is poor, though.

63 Beckham looks to be in the 'quarterback' role at the moment - not quite sure of the England formation as they've not really settled into a pattern but I can tell you Carlton Cole is on his way.

62 Too ambitious from Beckham as he tries to find Wright-Phillips on the other wing. Zhevnov gathers easily.

61 Poor ball from Bridge sails over Ferdinand's head but he reacts quickly and stops the ball skipping out for a throw.

60 And there was me saying Lennon had been the more impressive of the wingers. I'll stand by that, though, as Wright-Phillips has had a frustrating evening down the left.

Goal

59 GOAL - WRIGHT-PHILLIPS. Corner taken short to Wright-Phillips, who cuts in onto his favoured right foot and drills a curling shot in along the ground which Zhevnov can't keep out.

59 Agbonlahor shrugs off Verkhovtsov in the corner and bursts into the Belarus box but doesn't really commit the defenders in numbers and has to settle for a corner.

Substitution

59 It's Lennon to make way for Beckham. He's been the more impressive of England's wingers tonight.

58 Beckham on his way for England. Crowd seem pretty pleased with the decision - his arrival on the touchline is greeted with cheers.

58 Omelyanchuk fires a shot in from distance which deviates a bit through the air but Foster holds on comfortably enough.

57 Good punch from Zhenov as the corner comes in. Just caught a replay of the Lennon incident and definitely wasn't a penalty. Not that he appealed for it anyway.

56 Lennon skips into the England box and goes down under pressure but doesn't appeal for a penalty as it looked like he trod on the ball before falling over. Still a corner, though.

55 Pretty patchy from England still - they're repeatedly knocking a decent couple of passes together before losing possession.

Yellow Card

54 Kornilenko goes flying into the challenge on Wright-Phillips in the England half. That's a really poor tackle and he's rightly booked.

53 Lennon tries to find Lampard with an angled ball 'around the corner' but Sosnovskiy is alert to the danger and gets across well before clearing confidently.

52 Wright-Phillips back up quickly enough, and Belarus throw the ball straight for Foster to take a goal-kick.

51 Kalachev clips the ball into the England box but Ferdinand heads clear well. Ball breaks to Terry and he smacks it straight out of play with Wright-Phillips down - he caught a knee in the back as Belarus mounted their attack.

50 The corner comes to nothing and Belarus press forward but Lennon uses all his pace to get back and slides the ball out for a throw. Good challenge.

49 Lampard dinks the free-kick over the wall but Zhevnov turns it over the crossbar pretty comfortably. Managed to get two hands on it so wasn't fully extended.

48 Free-kick England around 22 yards out to the left of centre as England come forward. Sosnovskiy is penalised for a foul on Agbonlahor. Great shooting chance for Lampard.

47 Lampard fouled by Omelayanchuk as he tries to turn out of danger centrally. Silly tackle that.

46 England straight on the attack but a poor ball from Johnson halts the progress. Kalachev picks it up and powers into the England half but his shot is well blocked and England clear.

45 Back under way at Wembley.

Substitution

Belarus have made a change at the break with Rodionov on for Kutuzov.

Adam Marsh writes: "Capello will for sure lay into the guys at half-time."

Sky Bet

Odds update from our friends at Sky Bet - England are 1/14, the draw is 8/1 and Belarus are 40s. In the next goalscorer market, Crouch is 11/2, Agbonlahor 13/2, Lampard 6/1, Wright-Phillips 14/1 and Barry 18/1.

Half Time

And that's half-time. Dream start for England with a goal inside four minutes and they dominated for the first 20-25 minutes but it's been pretty flat since.

45+1 Lennon gets down the right after linking well with Johnson and whips the ball in for Crouch but his header is off target. Better from England.

45+1 We're into the one minute that will be added.

45 Yurevich cuts it back for Kornilenko but his attempted clip over the top is too heavy and Foster gathers. Promising though.

44 England get the ball down and knock it around. Still pretty flat but at least they're now keeping possession.

43 Barry's ball in towards Agbonlahor is blocked by Kulchy, who Barry then brings down. Free-kick - and the Manchester City man is lucky to escape a booking.

42 Good defending from Yurevich as he tracks back and heads the ball back to Zhevnov under pressure from Agbonlahor.

41 Lampard whips the ball in towards Ferdinand but it's half-cleared. Drops to Terry who attempts a kung fu-style scissor kick with his left but it's well blocked and Terry is then penalised as it drops. Good defending by Shitov.

40 Lennon fouled out wide. England free-kick.

39 Promising as Bridge and Agbonlahor link up but Kalachev gets in quickly to toe the ball clear.

38 Mexican wave sweeping around the stadium now. That says it all.

37 Capello has taken up station in the technical area in front of the England dug-out. As I said a couple of minutes back, he can't be happy with this. England started brightly but have really gone off the boil.

36 One from the training ground from Belarus to open the angle up but Omelyanmchuk's daisy-cutter is right down Foster's throat and he gathers comfortably.

35 Free-kick Belarus as Terry is penalised for a foul on Kornilenko. Capello can't be liking what he's seeing here.

34 England have gone really flat of late - Belarus pressing now.

33 Casual from Johnson but Bordachev wastes the chance to either get a shot away or whip in a good cross - he plays the ball tamely across and Foster gathers.

32 Decent-looking ball over the top towards Bordachev but again Johnson does well defensively, getting between ball and man and heading back to Foster.

31 Belarus struggling to deal with the aerial threat of Crouch. This time Sosnovskiy is penalised for shoving him in the back.

30 Johnson makes a great run to give Lennon an option from a throw. He bursts into the Belarus box and cuts into his left before firing his shot in. It's a truly dreadful effort. Good run though.

29 Poor corner from Lampard this time as it sails over Crouch. Bridge works it back into the area but his former Chelsea team-mate Terry is caught offside.

28 Verkhovtsov has to be alert to hack clear as Wright-Phillips bursts into the box down the inside-right channel. Ball worked back towards Lennon and Yurevich turns it behind for a corner.

27 Bit flat from England at the moment as Belarus knock the ball around nicely. They're not threatening England but showing they're not overawed by the occasion.

26 Decent possession football from Belarus until it's laid out to Shitov at right-back and he passes it straight out of play.

25 Ferdinand clips a lofted ball up for Crouch but he can't divert his flicked header to a team-mate and Zhevnov gathers.

24 Bridge tries to slide in Agbonlahor down the left but asks way too much of his team-mate and it drifts out of play.

23 Wright-Phillips goes down holding his ankle as Shitov nicks in to take the ball off his toes from behind. But play goes on and Wright-Phillips soon gets back to his feet. England then clear towards the Manchester City man and this time he is fouled.

22 Another decent corner whipped in from the England right but Barry and Crouch get in the way of each other and Belarus are able to clear pretty comfortably in the end.

21 Barry clears the free-kick straight to Agbonlahor and he races into the Belarus area. His shot is saved well by Zhevnov and it's turned behind for a corner as the Aston Villa man tries to get onto the rebound.

20 Free-kick Belarus as Ferdinand is penalised.

19 Sore one for the 'keeper that - Wright-Phillips caught him with the point of his elbow. He's back to his feet now, and well enough to clear from the free-kick.

18 A Crouch flick finds Lennon but Belarus are back in numbers as always. Worked back to Johnson who sends a decent ball in but Zhevnov punches clear. Caught an arm in the face from Wright-Phillips in doing so and he'll need treatment.

17 England probing left and right as they try to find a way past this massed Belarus defence. Johnson thwarted by Bordachev this time, though.

16 Johnson lofts a lovely ball over the top to Crouch down the inside right channel but Verkhovtsov is live to the danger and clears the danger.

15 Lampard's ball in is right onto the head of Crouch but his powerful header is always sailing well off target.

14 Cheap corner for England as Yurevich needlessly heads a long ball forward from Lampard behind. No chance for Lennon to get on the end of that. Can England take advantage?

13 Kalachev leaves the field after a bit of treatment. He'll be fine to continue as soon as play restarts though.

12 Crouch goes down appealing for a penalty but that challenge looked pretty tame at first glance and he still got the shot away. He certainly seemed convinced though.

11 Lampard opts for power over precision but smacks the free-kick straight into the wall. Tough to get that one and up down.

10 Barry and Crouch combine before the latter tries to slide in Agbonlahor. It's half-cleared but Crouch picks it up and he's fouled by Shitov in the D outside the Belarus area.

9 From the corner Belarus spring on the counter but Johnson does well to get back and get a foot in as Kalachev tries to slide it out to Kornilenko.

9 Barry spurns the chance to shoot from all of 30 yards and passes it wide to Lennon. He skips away from his marker but his cross is turned behind by Yurevich.

8 Bridge does well to track back under pressure from Kalachev and turn the ball clear. Looked like the Belarusian was going to get past him for a moment but he recovered well.

7 Corner whipped in and Kornilenko swings his right foot at it but can't divert it goalwards, his shot drifting wide.

6 Bridge flicks the corner clear at the front post. Breaks to Omelyanchuk and his speculative effort flies behind off Terry for another corner.

5 Belarus force a corner down the left as the rangy Bordachev forces Johnson to turn it behind.

Goal

4 GOAL - CROUCH. Well that didn't take long. Barry springs Agbonlahor clear down the inside-left channel, he cuts the ball back and Crouch diverts it home from five yards out.

3 Comfortable early touch for the out-of-form Foster as Johnson guides a header back to him.

2 Lampard's ball in half-cleared by Omelyanchuk. Drops to Wright-Phillips who takes a touch before shooting from distance. He drags it wide, but it's a bright start from England.

2 First free-kick of the game to England down the left as Agbonlahor is fouled out wide. Lampard to curl it in.

1 England attempt to launch an early raid down the left but Wright-Phillips can't keep a bouncing ball in and Belarus can clear.

0 England get us under way.

I sense some sarcasm from Paul Purvis. He writes: "Well that isn't a formidable England line-up is it? I guess they have limited options though. I mean it's not as if they have an English player who has scored seven goals in the Premiership this season sitting at home twidding his thumbs is it?"

Teams making their way out onto the pitch.

Our referee tonight is Lucilio Cardoso Cortez Batista from Portugal.

Belarus: Zhevnov, Kulchy, Yurevich, Sosnovskiy, Bordachev, Verkhovtsov, Omelyanchuk, Shitov, Kalachev, Kornilenko, Kutuzov. Subs: Amelchenko, Kashevsky, Lantsevich, Kovel, Rudik, Krivets, Rodionov.

Full teamlists just arrived. England: Foster, Johnson, Ferdinand, Terry, Bridge, Lennon, Lampard, Barry, Wright-Phillips, Crouch, Agbonlahor. Subs: Hart, Upson, A, Cole, Milner, Carrick, Beckham, C, Cole.

Sky Bet

Our friends at Sky Bet make England the 1/8 favourites with the draw a 6/1 shot and Belarus out at 12/1. In the first goalscorer market, Agbonlahor and Crouch are 9/2, Lampard 5/1, Wright-Phillips 12/1 and Barry 16/1.

'English Lee from NY' adds: "It's a great opportunity for Capello to experiment/look at fringe players. I think it will be 3 or 4 nil as the fringe players will give their all as they know chances are limited to impress."

Abdinajib Arten writes: "England will miss the likes of Rooney but it gives a chance to players who don't start usually. England will win 4-1."

Let me know how you see this one panning out - emails to reece.killworth@bskyb.com

Just had the team news through - and Fabio Capello hands first competitive starts to Gabriel Agbonlahor and Ben Foster among six changes. Wayne Bridge, Gareth Barry, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Peter Crouch are also brought back into the starting XI. The suspended Robert Green, Rooney and Gerrard plus Ashley Cole, Michael Carrick and Emile Heskey are missing from Saturday. David Beckham is back on the bench. We'll have the full team lists shortly.

Welcome to our coverage of England's final World Cup qualifier. Fabio Capello's men are off to South Africa no matter what happens tonight but it looks like being a good chance to take a look at some of the 'lesser lights' with the likes of Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard absent.
